The Quest For The Silver Dollar FEB '27

For the last seven years, our Silver Treasure Quest has invited Questers to follow clues, crack puzzles and uncover a hidden silver treasure. What began in 2020 with The Quest for the Silver Penguin has grown into an annual February tradition: The Silver Suitcase, The Silver Sovereign, The Silver Ship, The Crown Jewels, Shakespeare’s Sword, The Silver Salmon — and now, for February 2027, our 8th Annual Silver Treasure Quest: The Quest for the Silver Dollar. Each year brings a completely new challenge, but the spirit remains the same: curiosity, discovery, adventure and the satisfaction of finally seeing how all the pieces fit together. A great way to fill those cold February evenings and do something together as a household, or just challenge yourself, rather than watching TV.

Next year’s quest takes you on a journey through all 50 states of America. Riddles, picture clues, anagrams, state facts and hidden connections will test your powers of observation and research as you work your way towards the final destination. Some clues will be obvious, others cryptic, and some of the most important information may be hiding in plain sight. Keep your eyes open, trust nothing to be accidental, and remember — the real challenge is not simply finding answers, but discovering what to do with them.

Every annual quest has also had a purpose beyond the puzzle itself. By taking part, you are helping to support young people undertaking ambitious polar projects and adventures through The ReQUEST Foundation. Enjoy the hunt, share the challenge, and see if you can become one of the successful treasure seekers to complete another chapter in this long-running Silver Treasure Quest tradition. The 8th Annual Silver Treasure Quest.
